1988

Founded on November 4, 1988 by Prof. Schweppe, Prof. A.E. Schindler, Prof. Semm and Dr. Rychlik

1992

EnDoS 1.0 = First digital endometriosis documentation under MS-DOS (Foxpro)

1992

1st German Endometriosis Congress in Heidelberg

1999

Dr. Rychlik resigns from the Executive Board, meaning that from now on there is no longer any connection to the pharmaceutical industry.
The Management Board now consists of:

  • Development of certification as a step-by-step concept: endometriosis center, clinical endometriosis center and clinical-scientific endometriosis center

  • Organization and implementation of the audits since 2006 in joint sponsorship with the EEL and the Endometriosis Association Germany e.V.; in Austria with the Endometriosis Association Austria and in Switzerland with Endo-Help

2022

Handover of the qualification courses to the AGEM in the DGGG. Over the past 10 years, the SEF, together with the local women’s clinic, has held 34 courses in 27 cities with 1782 participants. Through successful CME examinations, 1423 gynecologists obtained the certificate. The further development of the courses is carried out by AGEM.

2023

Following the departure of Dr. med. Klaus Bühler and Prof. Dr. med.
1. Prof. Dr. med. Ivo Meinhold.-Heerlein, Director of the University Women’s Hospital Giessen and
2. Mrs. Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Monika Wölfler, Head of the Gyn. Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine at the Medical University of Graz as new members of the Executive Board.
